“What motivated me to submit the design for Fight CRC is I want to help raise the awareness of colorectal cancer and it is potentially preventable with early detection. I am using bright colors, movement, and icon-like graphics to express that there is hope for colorectal cancer patients.”

“Being in the colorectal cancer community, there is often a dark/gallows humor about the fact that we have cancer, but then we go even further into the taboo nature of it being butt cancer. The design was a little play on the words to make colorectal cancer survivors grin but also is something that might catch the attention of someone outside of the colorectal cancer community.”
